Introducing the University Health Center

The Health Center established on the International Campus of Sharif University of Technology provides university teachers and students and other staff with the following services:

1.     Opening a health file for students as soon as they are admitted;

2.     Visits and health consultations by physicians and following up specialized treatment of patients referred to the Health Center by physicians;

3.     Providing psychiatric consultations by specialist psychiatrists;

4.     Providing psychological health consultation by specialist psychologists;

5.     Supervision over healthiness of self-service, buffet, and coffee shop on the campus and healthiness of foods and drinks provided there;

6.     Supervising health conditions at university dormitories;

7.     Monitoring healthy situation of water and water resources supplied to administrative and educational buildings as well as dorms;

8.     Providing emergency medical services during camping or sports contests;

9.     Holding educational meetings on stress control, educational planning, life skills and other issues needed by students;

10.                         Preparing and distributing educational texts on issues related to physical and psychological health of the students;

11.                         Holding scientific competitions and giving awards to selected students on major health-related occasions including the World Diabetes Day, World AIDS Day, and World Health Day….;

12.                         Coordination with health and treatment centers for the completion of students’ vaccination.
