At present, there are five such societies on the International Campus of Sharif University of Technology whose names and areas of interest are as follows:
Movie Society: It has weekly film screening and criticism sessions to introduce such works to students. The directors and actors are sometimes invited. After each term, films screened in that term are discussed and criticized through film week ceremonies.
Photo Society: The society organizes photography classes, photography tours and photography competitions on various subjects in which various awards are given to participants.
Performance Society: This society conducts scientific and practical programs on stage plays and performing arts;
Music Society: This society is responsible for scientific and practical programs on music.
Sports Society: This society has been established to conduct sports activities, organize student teams, and take part in sports contests among universities. It has, thus far, organized soccer, basketball, and swimming teams which are active on a regular basis.
Sports services
Students of International Campus of Sharif University of Technology can apply to the department in charge of cultural and extracurricular programs to take advantage of sports facilities on the island cost free. The facilities also include diving classes and sea clubs.
