Insurance coverage for accidents on the campus

This is to inform students that all of them have been covered by insurance against accidents with Iran Insurance Firm (Kish branch).

Commitments of insurance firm:

-         Payment of remuneration for death resulting from accidents covered by insurance policy up to 15 million rials for every insured student;

-         Payment of remuneration for complete permanent loss of limb resulting from accidents covered by insurance policy up to 12 million rials for every insured student;

-         Payment of remuneration for partial permanent loss of limb resulting from accidents covered by insurance policy from premium of complete loss of limb up to 12 million rials according to loss of limb table drawn up by the insurance firm;

-         Compensation for medical costs resulting from accidents including outpatient, inpatient and treatment of poisoning, up to 7 million rials;

-         Accidents caused by driving motor vehicles by the insured party will be only covered by insurance if the insured party holds a driver’s license for that kind of vehicle.

-         In case of accident, the student will have to produce positive documents on the accident before the insurance contract expires (academic year 2009-2010) and give them to Students Department.
