Reported by the International Affairs Office, The International Affairs officer from SUTIC visited the Director of Iranian schools in UAE - Mr. Abbas Afroughteh to introduce the International campus, Sharif University of Technology to the Iranian schools in UAE.
At the beginning, the Iranian Schools Director was responsible for the Iranian Cultural Consulate; later Iran’s Ministry of Education appointed the Schools Director to continue running and developing Iranian schools in the United Arab Emirates. Since then, The Director has the authority for carrying out affairs such as: planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and supervising eight schools. The eight Iranian schools in UAE, with a 6,000-student population are Towheed International for Boys school, Towheed Girls School, Khadije Kobra Girls School, Salman Boys school, Sharjah Boys and Girls School, Imam Khomeini Boys and Girls School in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Boys and Girls School and Adab Private Boys and Girls School.
The aim of this visit was to not only introduce the academic programs of the international campus of Sharif University of Technology but also to highlight 2019 ranking of the university (according to Webometric & Round University Ranking), compare its tuition fees to those of the local UAE Universities, and emphasize on potential full/partial scholarships.
The International Affairs officer visited the following schools to present the Engineering programs at SUTIC:

The other main purpose of this visit was to attend the Graduation Ceremony of class 12 students of Adab Private Boys and Girls School which was held on Thursday, 25th April, 2019 in Iranian Club, Oud Metha, Dubai followed by advertising SUTIC during the event.
In addition, a visit to Pakistan Education Academy was made to further present SUTIC at International level.
